It's a good idea to try two or three samples when choosing your foundation shade to ensure you find your perfect match. If a shade looks too ashy then it’s too pale for you, if it looks orange then it’s too dark.
Don’t forget – many people need a summer and winter foundation shade, you can also mix shades to custom create your perfect match this way all year round.
Step 1) Before you start, ensure that moisturiser is fully absorbed into the skin; sprinkle a little foundation into the lid of your jar Step 2) Using your Super Kabuki brush or Flocked Sponge swirl into the minerals to pick up product and tap off excess Step 3) Starting where coverage is needed most, apply in circular, buffing motions Step 4) Continue applying in light layers until your desired coverage is achieved

How to find the right shade?
Porcelain is suitable for very pale skin tones. It’s important to find the right shade of foundation for your skin tone. Try our inexpensive samples in order to ensure you have an exact match. Remember to match your foundation to the skin tone on your jaw line, and not on your hand (they may be very different). If a shade looks too ashy it’s too pale for you, if it looks orange (even the slightest bit!) it’s too dark. With mineral foundation it’s easy to mix shades together as well. For guidance choosing your shade look at your skin in daylight, you may notice that you have more pinky tones or more yellowy tones, so then choose a shade which matches the undertones. Looking at the veins in your wrists can also help, if the veins look blue, you’re more likely to have cool colouring, with pinky undertones and if the veins look more green, warm undertones and yellow colouring.

I'm so white that i'm almost blue. ALWAYS have been and i've come to accept that I always will be. EVEN in the heights of summer. I've never once found a foundation as pale as me. They all leave an orange tint and leave my face darker than the rest of my body. I've stuck it through, applying fake tan so that I blend in with the foundation and don't look a fool but it's a lot of money and a lot of effort. I'm also sick of having to blot liquid foundations. they look awful after a few hours of wear. So I wanted to try a powder. I did a lot of research into which were best. I went for Lily Lolo because it was a good price and the reviews of fair skinned people were brilliant. I bought porcelain, put a primer on my face, Let it dry. Then applied in small circles, buffing into the skin. I am amazed and my skin looks airbrushed! NOT powdery or dry. It feels like I've got to makeup on at all. The colour is PERFECT. I am a true Lily Lolo convert. Now to buy the rest of their products!!

Perfectionism in canned format
My best powder ever! I have combination skin and through my previous acne I have so-called scars under the skin which show through blotchy. In addition, I have small redness around the nose, as well as the eyes and very light skin. Basically, I had problems in the trade to find a makeup ever in my light skin tone, which also covers and matt's! After I switched completely to natural cosmetics, I tested this product in the color porcelain. It actually creates a perfect flawless complexion. It covers light dark circles, redness even absolutely reliable and even my little "spots" are perfectly covered.

BEST FOUNDATION POWDER
This is the best mineral foundation powder I have ever used. It makes my skin look clear and even. As I am so pale I struggle to find a foundation that doesn't make me look orange but this is perfect. It's so light and it looks so natural. I like that it has SPF too. I'll definitely be buying again.
